General Time Management Tips

  • Get clothes ready and ironed the night before or even days in advance

  • Start packing for vacation 2 weeks ahead of time

  • Lay out breakfast and next day meals the night before

  • Use your phone calendar to set reminder for things that need to be prepped ahead of time

  • Schedule your day and allocate time blocks for activities

  • Plan breaks/rewards. Ex: 25 mins of work with 3-5 min breaks repeated often

  • Schedule toughest tasks for the periods you'll have the most energy

  • Have a cutoff time to help with procrastination


Meal Prep Hacks

  • Make a prep schedule for which day and time you will meal prep

  • Prep produce right away for the week or beyond (vacuum seal in freezer)

  • Cook meats and eggs in batches

  • Stock up on quality airtight containers

  • Stock up on frozen fruits and vegetables for convenience

  • Make freezer friendly meals so they can be thawed easily

  • Invest in a slow cooker

  • Invest in an air fryer as it can cook starches and meats faster and healthier

  • Pre-bag smoothie ingredients

  • Pick Versatile ingredients


Interview Prep Hacks

  • Prepare a cheat sheet pertaining to the field, company and requirements and review it

  • Have good things to say about past employers

  • Prepare for basic interview questions like "tell me about yourself" etc.

  • Listen for an opportunity to talk about common interests with the interviewer

  • Mirror the interviewers body language

  • Use bright and enthusiastic vocal intonations, no monotone

  • Maintain good eye contact and posture

  • Prepare 1 or 2 questions to ask and listen

  • Leave the interview on a high note discussing your potential future

  • Remember the interviewers name to repeat during the interview and at the end

  • Follow up within 24-48 hours


Test Taking Hacks

  • Schedule study time

  • Take pictures of notes or chapters and convert to speech so you can listen to the material multiple times on your phone

  • Quiz yourself in intervals

  • Remove distractions around your primary study space

  • Take regular breaks
